Chamfer Developer tools Independent · Portugal Pre-release
45° Fig. 1 — 45° bevel

Chamfer.

Small, sharp tools for developers.

chamfer (noun) — a symmetrical sloping surface cut into the edge of a workpiece, removing the sharp corner so the part is safer to handle and easier to fit.

What we make

Narrow command-line and editor tools that each remove one specific sharp edge from a working developer's day. Not platforms, not suites — single-purpose things that do one job completely.

How it is sold

A useful free tier, open source on GitHub, with a paid tier behind a one-time licence key. No subscription, no seat counting, no account required to use the free version.

Who is behind it

One independent developer in Portugal. There is no team, no investors and no roadmap deck — which is the point. Small tools, shipped properly.

Current status Building — first release late September 2026

Chamfer is pre-release. The first tool is in development and this page exists so there is somewhere honest to point at while it is built. There is nothing to buy yet, and nothing on this page is a product claim.

The first release will be a developer utility distributed through GitHub, with a paid tier sold as a one-time licence. When it ships, it will be announced here and on the repository.
